I was out of town recently, so I am sorry I haven’t kept up with my promised blog pace! I thought it would be fun to write about something that I like to do while I am on vacation… can you guess? Look at real estate!

I know, I know – sounds like work since I am a Realtor, but it is a lot of fun to see what homes cost in vacation areas. I was in Vail, CO and naturally the real estate options were quite different from the options in Madison, WI. I saw a seven bedroom, eight bath log home for $8,000,000… two bedroom, two bath condo for $???,???... more reasonable, no?

I encourage you to do the same when you are on vacation – it is a lot of fun! Go to an open house or drive by a fancy listing or take a look at the fliers posted outside of a real estate office. It is fun to dream, but also a good reminder of how your current home is easy on the pocket and easy to maintain… who wants to clean eight bathrooms anyways?
